26 Jan 2022 SSDI Payment Schedule
For 2022, Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) beneficiaries will be seeing an increase in their monthly payments. This payment increase is due to the 2022 COLA adjustment. Increased checks have already been sent out to some recipients. Here are the dates you can expect to receive your SSDI payments this year:
How Your Birth Date Impacts Your Payment Schedule
SSDI benefits are administered on one of three Wednesdays each month. Which Wednesday a beneficiary receives their payments is dependent on their birth date.
Those who were born between the 1st and 10th receive their SSDI payments on the second Wednesday of each month. Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th receive their SSDI payments on the third Wednesday each month. Those born between the 21st and 31st will receive their payments on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Not Currently Receiving Benefits?
If you are not currently receiving SSDI benefits, or if you need to appeal a denied claim, consider contacting a disability attorney. An attorney will be able to answer any questions you may have about Social Security disability benefits and guide you through the claims process. Studies have shown that those who choose to hire legal representation for their SSDI claims are more likely to win benefits than those who do not.
